Wild Crowd
Melina Paakkonen’s third solo exhibition in Helsinki moves away from interiors and focuses more strongly on building a world based on symbols. Some of the paintings depict reality completely without perspective. The image can quickly shift from paper dolls to medieval church murals or Renaissance tapestries. All the same, the viewer has the power to play with the images as they wish.
Meet the artist on Saturday 20th April at 2–4 p.m. in the exhibition.
