Laura Kärki (b. 1978, Lahti) is a multidisciplinary artist working between Berlin and Helsinki. She graduated from Aalto University in Helsinki in 2006 and previously studied textile design at the Metropolia University of Applied Sciences in Vantaa and ceramics at the School of Arts and Crafts in Tammela. She explores life’s complexities through images, words, and sound, using diverse media such as 3D-printed clay, textiles, photography, and digital painting. Her works are often enriched with poetry and soundscapes, adding depth to her artistic expression. Kärki has exhibited internationally, including in Berlin, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Mänttä, Seoul, and Tampere. Her works are held in collections such as the Finnish State Art Commission, Aine Art Museum, Lahti Museum of Visual Arts Malva, and the Miettinen Collection.
