Ville Löppönen (b. 1980) is a Finnish visual artist, known especially for his realistic and mystical paintings. He graduated with a Master of Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2007 and a Master of Orthodox Theology from the University of Eastern Finland in 2018. His works often deal with spiritual and existential themes, combining traditional painting skills with modern expression. Löppönen uses classical painting techniques, such as oil painting, and his works are influenced by both religious iconography and surrealism. The human figure often recurs in his works, with an expressiveness and atmosphere that create a strong connection with the viewer.
