Eetu Kevarinmäki is a contemporary conceptual artist who works with current and everyday themes, drawing attention to roles and structures that sustain unequal practices. The contemporary art world itself, with all its clichés, does not escape his critical scrutiny.

In his work, Kevarinmäki makes use of the readymade and readymade aesthetics. His methods include scanning and various deliberately clumsy digital visualization tools. The result is at times even beautiful, but the overall tone does not shy away from more bitter undertones.

Meet the artist | Eetu Kevarinmäki will be present at his exhibition on the final weekend, Saturday 16 May from 14 to 16.
