Pidot
Mikko Ängeslevä paints surreal everyday scenes – people and life rendered with a subtle sense of dislocation. His approach combines different strands of modernism into rich, layered compositions. In many of his works, reduction and an almost realistic painting style intertwine in a compelling way. Pidot (The Feast) is Ängeslevä’s first exhibition at Galleria Halmetoja.
